System Integration Test Engineer
PAY RANGE: $75.00 - 105.00/hr
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced System Integration Test Engineer to support the integration and testing of software-intensive systems within a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) System Integration Lab. The selected candidate will be responsible for validating assigned system capabilities by developing test procedures, executing manual testing, documenting results, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with software engineers to resolve defects. This role also supports test automation efforts and the development of failure mode testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and support multiple assigned system capabilities throughout the integration and test lifecycle.
- Analyze system requirements and develop comprehensive test cases to verify functionality.
- Execute manual system integration and validation testing in a HWIL environment.
- Record test execution results using approved test management and logging tools.
- Document defects by creating and managing Anomaly Reports (ARs).
- Collaborate with software engineers to troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve issues identified during testing.
- Develop and execute failure mode testing for assigned capabilities.
- Support the development and implementation of automated test solutions by working with the automation team.
- Contribute to long-term hardware integration strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience integrating and/or testing software-intensive systems in a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) System Integration Lab.
- 5+ years of experience using one or more issue tracking and source control tools such as JIRA, GitLab, or GitHub.
- 5+ years of experience with Eggplant, Cucumber, or Python.
- 5+ years of experience with Omniview and Mission Planning CONOPS.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate long-term hardware integration strategies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Security Clearance
- Active Secret Security Clearance required
- Investigation completed within the last 5 years
- Continuous Evaluation (CE) enrollment required
- Must be eligible to obtain required Special Access prior to start (P29 Contract 18-C-0121).
Pay: $75.00 - $105.00 per hour
