BCO Industries, Inc is a trade printer- we design, print and finish for other printers, ad agencies, print brokers, and in-house print shops.
We are seeking a printing press operator with bindery knowledge for general offset printing.
If you have experience in a small print shop, we want to talk to you!
Familiarity with some of following equipment a plus- Offset printing presses (Ryobi, Ab Dick, Halm Jet)
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Ryobi printing presses
- Set up and run print jobs according to specifications
- Monitor color consistency and print quality
- Troubleshoot minor press issues
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on equipment
- Assist in bindery operations including cutting, folding, stitching, and finishing
- Any other tasks assigned
- Follow production schedules and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualifications
- Prior experience operating Ryobi presses preferred
- Bindery and finishing experience a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
- Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods
