Position: Prep Team Member

About the Role:
- As a our Prep Team Member, you will play an important role in preparing fresh ingredients and supporting the kitchen team to ensure every meal meets Chick-fil-A’s high standards for quality, safety, and speed. This role focuses on food preparation, organization, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment so our team can serve guests efficiently and consistently. Prep Team Members help ensure that all ingredients and products are ready for service, contributing to a smooth and successful kitchen operation each day.
Key Responsibilities:

Follow recipes and portioning standards.

Keep prep areas clean and organized.

Support the kitchen during peak hours.
Other Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and assemble food items while following quality, safety, and speed standards.

Assist with beverage and dessert preparation.

Ensure all products meet Chick-fil-A’s brand, culture, and excellence standards.

Maintain cleanliness in the, kitchen, storage areas, restrooms, and dining spaces.

Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.

Help with opening and closing tasks as assigned.

Communicate clearly with team members and leaders.

Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Experience:

Kitchen or prep experience a plus.

Attention to detail and quality.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Friendly and outgoing personality

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods (4+ consecutive hours)

Light lifting (up to 25 lbs.) for restocking and cleaning duties
