American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 3+ years of IR experience and ARRT (R) certification for a 13-week assignment at a Level 2 trauma center.

Acute care setting within a Level 2 trauma center
-
Interventional Radiology unit with two fluoro rooms, CT utilization, and two mini rooms for ultrasound procedures
-
Uses Epic EMR, Sectra PACS, Toshiba IR machine, and Siemens ultrasound unit
-
8-hour day shifts with possibility of staying to finish cases started late
-
Call required on an evening and weekend rotation, averaging around 10 or fewer days per month
-
Works independently on smaller interventional cases and in a two-person team for larger angiography procedures
-
May float to CT/Cat Scan department to assist with procedures

40 hours guaranteed per week

Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience

ARRT (R) certification required
-
BLS certification required
-
North Dakota Medical Imaging Board registration (NDMIRT) required, which takes approximately 4 weeks to obtain

Background check required

License required if applicable

Epic EMR experience preferred

Assist radiologists during procedures including scrubbing in and coordinating the room during cases

Responsible for scheduling and coding of procedures

Perform post-procedure film processing, charting, and billing for cases and supplies

Unit-specific training includes EMR training and general equipment and protocol review

Ceil blue hospital scrubs provided

All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility

Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility are not accepted

Clinicians who previously worked for this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
