About the Role: Full Time
Riziki Cafe is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Production Baker to join our growing team. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods that meet our specific brand standards for freshness and texture. As a member of our multi-unit operations, you will work in a fast-paced environment where precision and consistency are the keys to our success.
Key Responsibilities
- Production & Prep: Execute daily production schedules for breads, pastries, and house-made items, ensuring all products meet recipe specifications and quality standards.
- Quality Control: Maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation for all items.
- Operations Support: Assist in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and highly organized workspace in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Inventory & Waste Management: Monitor ingredient stock and execute preparation methods that minimize waste, supporting our team-wide goal of keeping COGS under 28%.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in monthly performance reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow precise formulas and recipes accurately.
- Experience in a commercial kitchen or baking environment preferred.
- Must be able to maintain high energy and focus during early morning shifts.
Schedule Requirements
- Commitment: This is a full-time position requiring consistent attendance.
- Weekend Availability: Must be available to work at least two Saturdays per month.
- Flexibility: Ability to work early morning hours to ensure product readiness for opening.
