Job Title: Landscape Project Manager
Position Summary:
The Landscape Project Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations. This includes managing field crews, ensuring quality control, maintaining relationships with the client, scheduling work, and achieving budget and performance goals. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in landscape construction, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of horticultural practices and landscape management. This position is working in the field 75% of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met, and client expectations are exceeded.
- Resolve client concerns promptly and effectively.
- Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Schedule and manage landscape crews.
- Ensure crews are equipped, trained, and motivated to perform high-quality work.
- Monitor employee performance and enforce company policies and safety procedures.
- Operational Planning & Scheduling:
- Create and manage weekly work schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Order Products
- Vendor Relations
- Budgeting & Cost Control:
- Monitor labor hours, materials, and other job costs to ensure profitability.
- Track job progress and adjust resources as needed to stay within budget.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure crew compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and job site audits.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in landscape, with min. 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, landscape constructions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in scheduling, and crew management, computer skills mandatory
- Knowledge of reading constructions plan & Cad
- Multi Task-Time management.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Working Conditions:
- Mostly outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform site inspections on foot.
