Join our team as a Project Manager specializing in Commercial Construction, where you'll lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. As a key driver of project success, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure compliance with all construction regulations. Your expertise will help shape innovative commercial spaces that meet high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Lead the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects from initial planning through completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Microsoft project management software to coordinate construction activities effectively.
- Oversee construction estimating processes and manage project budgets, including cost management and financial reporting.
- Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to ensure accurate execution of design intent.
- Manage teams on-site and off-site, providing leadership in project coordination, resource allocation, and performance oversight.
- Ensure construction regulatory compliance by adhering to local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore to streamline communication and documentation.
- Conduct construction schedule coordination and monitor progress through regular site visits and progress meetings.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, procurement processes, and contract administration to maintain quality standards.
- Enforce safety protocols on-site to promote a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the project.
Experience
- Overall project administration, leadership, and technical direction of ground up projects
- Manage bid requests, review bids, develop subcontracts
- Direct lead for estimating and take offs
- Handle all project buyout within designated time frame
- Review project submittals for conformance to contract documents from subcontractors
- Direction of all RFI’s requested
- Direction of all Submittal's requested
- Work directly with our Superintendents and Subcontractors to ensure proper execution of the owner specifications and plans accordingly.
- Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates
- Organize, attend, participate, and lead project meetings, including subcontractor meetings involving pre-construction, scope of work, scheduling, safety, etc
- Manage timely completion of each project
- Use software for data analysis, forecasting and budgeting
- Managing and multitasking 3-5 projects at a time
- Creating and maintaining Purchase Orders and Change Orders
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, CAD files as well as Municipality code and requirements
- Steel/Metal construction a plus
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong decision making/problem solving skills
- Very good written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
