Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems, and seat guests efficiently
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change while adhering to food safety protocols
- Provide exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations
Experience
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments preferred; experience in nightclubs or food service is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management
- Strong background in customer service, serving, bussing, and hospitality roles within the food industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking efficiently
- Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required; a passion for food industry operations is essential
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and team collaboration
