Overview
Equity Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Tulsa. We are a clinic-focused pharmacy working closely with the neighboring clinic under the 340B program, specializing in HIV treatment, PrEP, and hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Our team is passionate about delivering compassionate, inclusive care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
This role offers a Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM schedule with no weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist in Charge with daily pharmacy operations.
- Accurately prepare, count, and label medications for dispensing.
- Process prescriptions efficiently using pharmacy software and EMR/EHR systems.
- Maintain organized inventory and help ensure compliance with 340B program requirements.
- Collaborate with providers and staff to support patient-centered care.
- Greet patients, answer phone calls, and provide excellent customer service.
- Uphold all HIPAA and regulatory standards for safety, privacy, and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician license (or trainee permit, if applicable).
- Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred but not required — we will provide training.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
