Precision Health is expanding our mobile diagnostic imaging team and is seeking an experienced Mobile Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality portable ultrasound services throughout Central New Jersey and the Newark area.
This opportunity is ideal for a dependable sonographer who enjoys working independently, traveling between healthcare facilities, and delivering exceptional patient care. You'll work with a supportive operations team while serving skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, and other healthcare partners throughout your assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Perform portable ultrasound examinations at healthcare facilities throughout Central New Jersey and the Newark area.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Perform general, abdominal, vascular, and other assigned ultrasound studies.
- Accurately document completed examinations for physician interpretation.
- Travel between assigned facilities during scheduled shifts.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate professionally with patients, nursing staff, facility leadership, and the operations team.
Qualifications
- Active ARDMS certification required.
- Experience performing multiple ultrasound modalities.
- Experience with general, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound preferred.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently in a mobile healthcare setting.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday.
