Duties

- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards across all areas, including restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed.
- Clean surfaces including countertops, desks, windows, and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment.
- Use cleaning detergents safely and effectively while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Operate janitorial equipment like vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and pressure washers efficiently.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of supplies or equipment while maintaining proper ergonomics.
- Conduct outdoor cleaning duties such as trash removal, sweeping walkways, and maintaining outdoor furniture or fixtures.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and supply inventories to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate professionally with clients or team members regarding specific cleaning needs or issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Experience with residential housekeeping or general cleaning roles demonstrates strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation standards is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout your shift are essential.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and maintenance ensures effective service delivery.
