The Opportunity
Our client has an exceptional pipeline of work that includes large-scale healthcare and hospitality projects throughout Texas.
We're seeking a proven leader with experience managing projects such as:
- Ground-up hospitals and major healthcare campuses
- Large acute care, specialty care, or research facilities
- Luxury hotels, destination resorts, or other premier hospitality developments
- Highly technical commercial projects requiring sophisticated planning, coordination, and execution
This is not a role focused on small medical office buildings or standard select-service hotels. We're looking for someone who has successfully led complex, high-value projects with demanding owners, extensive MEP systems, and multidisciplinary teams.
What You'll Do
- Provide executive leadership from preconstruction through project closeout.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, risk management, and financial performance.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and trade partners.
- Lead project teams while mentoring Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
- Partner closely with field leadership to proactively solve challenges and keep projects on schedule.
- Drive collaboration across design, preconstruction, and operations teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Ensure projects meet the highest standards for safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects for a general contractor.
- Demonstrated success leading large, ground-up healthcare and/or luxury hospitality projects.
- Strong financial management experience, including budgets, forecasting, change management, and contract administration.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams through every phase of construction.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
- Stable work history with a reputation for delivering complex projects successfully.
