The WaterSports Ambassador is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience through the safe operation, coordination, and promotion of all beachfront and recreational activities. This role also supports daily beach maintenance and cleanliness standards to ensure all outdoor guest areas reflect the resort’s barefoot luxury atmosphere.
This highly visible guest-facing position requires an energetic, personable, safety-focused individual who is passionate about hospitality, recreation, and maintaining pristine beach and marina environments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Engagement

Welcome and engage guests in a friendly, upbeat, and professional manner.
- Educate guests on available water sports activities, rentals, and resort amenities.
- Assist guests with kayaks, paddleboards, beach games, cabanas, and activities.
- Create a fun, safe, and energetic atmosphere throughout the beach and marina areas.
- Proactively interact with guests to enhance the overall resort experience and encourage participation in activities.
- Assist with organized resort programming, beach events, tournaments, and group activities.
WaterSports Operations

Set up and break down all daily beach and water sports equipment.
- Ensure all rental equipment is clean, organized, operational, and safely stored.
- Conduct routine inspections of kayaks, paddleboards, life jackets, umbrellas, chairs and related equipment.
- Monitor weather and water conditions to ensure safe operations.
- Enforce all safety procedures and resort policies regarding recreational activities.
- Assist with rental procedures, waivers, and activity scheduling.
Beach Maintenance & Cleanliness
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in maintenance or sports facility management is a plus.

Proven experience in facilities maintenance, sports ground upkeep, or a related field.

Strong understanding of sports equipment and court maintenance practices.

Ability to perform physical tasks related to maintenance and repair work.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
