REMEDI8® is hiring Commercial Drywall, Ductwork and Fire Door Techs to inspect, repair, and maintain commercial doors, firestopping systems, wall penetrations, and related building components in healthcare and commercial facilities throughout the Seattle area.

No firestop or life-safety experience required. Training is available for qualified candidates.

What You'll Do
- Inspect commercial fire-rated doors and related hardware
- Perform repairs to doors, frames, hinges, closers, and hardware
- Perform firestopping and caulking repairs around wall and floor penetrations
- Complete minor drywall and wall assembly repairs
- Inspect fire dampers and related life-safety systems
- Read blueprints and construction drawings
- Document work using company-provided tablet software
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Build positive relationships with customers and facility personnel
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Construction, maintenance, carpentry, drywall, caulking, door, or mechanical experience
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable work ethic
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be at least 21 years old
Preferred:
- Commercial door experience
- Door hardware experience
- Drywall repair experience
- Firestop/Caulking experience
- HVAC/Damper/Ductwork experience
- Blueprint reading experience
- Healthcare or commercial facility experience
Work Environment
This is a field-based position serving commercial and healthcare facilities throughout the Seattle area.
You will regularly:
- Travel locally between customer sites
- Work on ladders and above ceilings
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Work in active healthcare and commercial environments
- Perform hands-on repair and installation work
