Duties
- Assist families with bereavement support, offering comfort and guidance throughout the funeral process
- Prepare and transport deceased bodies using safe lifting practices and manual handling techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Drive funeral vehicles safely to transport families and deceased, adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols
- Support funerals and memorial services, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with families, vendors, and team members to meet their needs
Requirements
- Experience in funeral & mortuary services OR experience in home health care, hospice, hospitals, nursing homes, private home care, medical offices, front desk receptionists, medical coordinators and other medial related fields. Training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and working with bodies in a respectful manner
- Excellent client communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to participate in on-call coverage as needed
- Prior experience in customer service or administrative roles is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts to support funeral schedules
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds as required to perform essential job duties.

Pay: $125.00 - $150.00 per day
