Schedule: 3:30pm - 2am Mon - Thu
We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment while producing precision parts that meet quality and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and/or other machining equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and specifications
- Load programs, select tooling, and make machine offsets and adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment
- Monitor machining operations to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean
- Troubleshoot machining or tooling issues and make appropriate corrections
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures
- Accurately document production and inspection results
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, quality personnel, and other team members
Qualifications
- Previous CNC machining or related manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and understand basic GD&T concepts
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, speeds, and feeds
- Ability to perform basic shop math
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to follow all safety and quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical school, machining certificate, or equivalent training
- Experience with CNC setup and programming
- Familiarity with G-code and common CNC controls
- Experience machining a variety of metals and materials
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials or tooling as required
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
