Sonoran Dental Studio is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team in Buckeye, AZ. We’re a patient-focused dental practice that believes the front desk sets the tone for the entire patient experience. We’re looking for someone who is confident working in a dental office, enjoys connecting with patients, and takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Greet and check patients in and out with a warm, professional attitude.
- Answer phones, assist patients with questions, and provide excellent customer service.
- Schedule and confirm appointments while keeping the doctor’s schedule efficient.
- Verify and update insurance information and assist with claims and insurance-related questions.
- Collect and accurately post patient payments and maintain financial records.
- Coordinate treatment appointments and discuss financing or payment options with patients when needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
- Help coordinate the flow of the office so patients have a smooth experience from check-in through check-out.
- Work closely with the doctor and clinical team and pitch in wherever needed to keep the office running efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience working in a general dental practice.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and the patient experience.
- Experience with Open Dental is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple priorities.
- A team player who takes initiative and is willing to help wherever needed.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, but not required.
Compensation
Competitive pay based on experience.
