Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a day-shift travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Newberg, Oregon.
This role supports a multi-specialty surgical environment with a primary focus on circulating responsibilities across a variety of surgical services.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This assignment is ideal for Operating Room RNs who are comfortable functioning as a circulator in a fast-paced surgical environment supporting multiple specialties.
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- 13-week contract
- 4x10 Day shifts
- 07:00–17:00
- Circulator role primarily
- Scrub experience preferred but not required
- Call required (weeknights and weekends)
- 30-minute callback response time
- Floating required to other Providence facilities
- Personal vehicle required
COMPENSATION
- Gross: $2,726 per week
- W2: $37.00 per hour
- Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246 per week
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Function as primary circulating nurse in the operating room
- Support surgical procedures across multiple specialties
- Maintain sterile environment and ensure surgical safety
- Coordinate surgical workflow and patient care
- Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesia providers
- Document care using Epic EMR

UNIT OVERVIEW
- Patient ratio 1:1 in the operating room
- Acute care hospital setting
- Epic charting system
Requirements:
- Active RN license required (Oregon license may be pending at submission)
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience required
- BLS certification required
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to take call with a 30-minute response time
- Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle required)
Important Notes:
- Floating required to multiple Providence facilities as needed
- Up to 6 total days or 3 consecutive days RTO auto-approved
- All RTO must be submitted upfront
- 50-mile radius rule applies (locals accepted at lower rate)
- 2 supervisory references required
- Return staff must wait 3 months between perm and travel
