Position Summary
The ideal candidate will create a positive classroom culture, deliver engaging instruction, and support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students. Teachers at Ryan Academy work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and administration to ensure student success.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective, standards-based lessons for elementary/middle school students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
- Implement classroom management strategies that promote respect and responsibility.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student learning and school culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (required)
- Experience teaching elementary or middle school students (preferred)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
