Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Location: Utica, New York 13502
Contract: 13 weeks with possible extension
Shift: 10:30 AM–11:00 PM | 12-hour shifts
Hours: 36 hours/week
Travel Weekly Gross: $2,800/week
Local Rate: $65/hour on W-2
Travel Requirement: Must live 75+ miles from the facility
Local Candidates: Candidates living within 75 miles are accepted at the local rate.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Emergency Department for a 13-week contract opportunity in Utica, NY, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Emergency Department experience, including some Pediatric experience, as well as previous travel nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York RN License
- 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
- Pediatric ED experience preferred/required as specified
- Travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Epic EMR experience required
- Current COVID-19 vaccination
- NURSYS license verification report
- Skills checklist matching the specialty
- Valid driver's license with address matching demographics
- Two professional references
- Requested Time Off (RTO) must be provided at the time of submission

Experience with patients presenting with:
- Stroke
- Sepsis
- Trauma
- Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- Cardiac Arrest
- Respiratory Failure

Experience with the following is required:
Pressors: Levophed, Neo, Epinephrine, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine
Vasodilators: Cleviprex, Cardene, Nitroglycerin (NTG)
Anti-arrhythmics: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lidocaine
Sedation: Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl
Other: TNK, Heparin, Insulin
Pay: $2,750.00 - $2,800.00 per week
