Duties
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are handled safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support food running and serving efforts to deliver orders promptly to guests
- Buss tables and clear dishes to keep the dining area tidy and welcoming
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment using safe lifting practices
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payments
- Follow food safety standards diligently, including proper food handling and storage procedures
- Support banquet setups and service when needed, ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive customer service
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate food service operations and guest needs
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation, cleaning, and basic customer service skills
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving manual handling and heavy lifting safely
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is advantageous
- Experience in banquet or hospitality settings can enhance your ability to excel in this role
