American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position on a 4B Surgical unit at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center in Georgia, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience.

Work setting is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center

Unit 4B Surgical serves a diverse patient population including urology, gynecology, orthopedics, general medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular cases

Epic EMR experience is required
-
13-week contract with 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
-
4 weekend shifts per month are expected
-
Block scheduling is generally not approved
-
No on-call responsibilities

Local candidates are accepted

Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required

Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg specialty experience required

Experience in high-acuity, high-volume hospital environments required — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered

Proven ability to manage critical, fast-paced situations in large-scale trauma settings

Epic EMR proficiency required

Certifications must be provided for consideration

Provide nursing care to a complex, high-acuity surgical patient population across multiple specialties

No RTO (time off requests) will be approved for this assignment

Nursys license verification required
