Clifftop Law PLLC is a team-oriented and fast-paced General law practice seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, primarily focusing on Immigration Law.

Compensation: Salary range $100,000- $130,000 depending on experience.

Position Overview:

This position requires a law degree (J.D.) OR a Foreign law degree + LLM, must be licensed to practice law in Washington State.

You will actively handle all aspects of a client’s case, including communicating with parties, drafting legal documents such as briefs and motions, and preparing for and attending hearings.

Represent clients before EOIR, USCIS, BIA, and CBP.

You are able to handle a high volume of all types of Immigration cases, focusing primarily on removal defense, family petitions, consular processing, waivers, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, VAWA, U and T visas, and Employment/Business Visas.

Collaborate with a skilled team of legal assistants and support staff.

Familiarity with Immigration Law is highly desirable.

Daily work expectations include:

Establishing positive and collaborative working relationships with clients, colleagues, and the courts.

Effectively applying legal solutions to clients’ issues.

Clearly and empathetically communicating legal options to clients.

Effectively representing clients at hearings, depositions, and trials.

Consulting with and retaining new clients.

Working with staff to accurately calendar all hearings, filing deadlines, and other key dates.

Timely communicating with the Managing Attorney and team members to continue developing skill set and taking on more challenging legal issues.

Ability to multitask on a variety of projects.

Ability to work both independently & within a team environment.

Take ownership of assignments and execute them timely.
