We are hiring CDL A Intermodal Owner Operators at three terminals:
- Joliet, IL — 1825 Terminal Court, Joliet, IL 60436 (rail yard drayage, Chicago market)
- Charleston, SC — 1940 Hanahan Road, Charleston, SC (port drayage)
- Savannah, GA — 230 Flonnel Avenue, Savannah, GA (port drayage, regional)
Drivers haul containers of various sizes on short-haul drayage and longer drays to customer facilities. Join a dedicated fleet backed by freight that doesn't dry up.
Compensation
- Average weekly take-home pay: $2,000–$3,000
- 73% of load pay
- 100% of the fuel surcharge passed through to you!
- Additional pay: detention (after just 1 hour), hazmat, overweight, reefer

Home Time, Route & Schedule
- Joliet, IL: Home daily | ~250 miles around Joliet | Serving all Chicago-area rail yards
- Charleston, SC: Home daily | ~250 miles around Charleston | Serving all SC Ports Authority container facilities
- Savannah, GA (Regional): Home at least every other day with potential for additional home time | ~350 miles around Savannah | Lanes to Lafayette GA, Norcross GA, Montgomery AL, Telford TN, and others as available
- Level of touch: No touch freight
Equipment Requirements
- Must have your own truck
- No truck year requirement!
- Must be Samsara ELD compatible
- Must have your own apportioned plates — we do not offer a plate program
Qualifications
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Must have a CDL A license
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- 1 year intermodal, port, or rail yard driving experience required
- TWIC card required for Charleston and Savannah (port terminals)
- Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required — extra pay if you have it
- Zero-tolerance policy regarding substance abuse; no prior positive drug/alcohol test results or refusals
- Drivers preferred within 50 miles of Joliet, IL, Charleston, SC, or Savannah, GA
