American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and proven high-acuity, high-volume delivery center background.

Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit

High-risk, high-acuity patient population
-
Experience within a high-volume delivery center performing 200–300 deliveries per month is required
-
Floating to Postpartum required 1–2 shifts per week
-
May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses

Uses Epic (Stork module)

Active Iowa RN license or compact RN license required; if Iowa license is not active, proof of application for an Iowa single-state or compact license must be provided

Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, and NRP
-
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required, with experience within the past year at a larger, high-volume delivery center

High-risk and high-acuity L&D experience required

Circulating experience required
-
Scrub experience preferred
-
Epic Stork experience preferred
-
Multiple completed travel contracts preferred

Driver's license required for consideration

Candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility

Candidates who have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration

Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
-
Time-off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving week (11/26–11/30) and the winter holiday period (12/23–1/2), regardless of holidays worked
