Class A CDL Driver – Flatbed & Equipment Hauling
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Class A CDL Driver to support operations for our specialized transportation fleet. This position involves operating a 22' flatbed truck to transport materials, equipment, and jobsite-related freight throughout the region. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a 22' flatbed truck and other assigned equipment safely and efficiently
- Transport materials, machinery, and equipment to and from customer and job sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns
- Secure loads in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch and operations personnel regarding schedules, routes, and delivery requirements
- Assist with equipment pickups, deliveries, and positioning as needed
- Maintain accurate driving logs and required compliance documentation
- Follow all DOT, safety, and company operating procedures
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR review
- Experience operating flatbed trucks, trailers, or other commercial vehicles
- Strong understanding of load securement and transportation safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules
- Willingness to travel and accommodate occasional after-hours or urgent assignments
Preferred Qualifications
- Flatbed hauling experience
- Experience transporting construction equipment or oversized materials
- Familiarity with construction sites, industrial facilities, and jobsite operations
- Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks, trailers, and hydraulic equipment
- Experience working in a small business or growing transportation operation

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
