Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Program Manager to join the SABA Therapy clinical team. This full-time, hourly position plays a key leadership role in supporting the delivery of high-quality ABA services through staff supervision, clinical support, and operational coordination. The Program Manager works closely with the supervising BCBA to support treatment implementation, coach and mentor Behavior Technicians (BTs), provide parent and caregiver education, and help ensure accurate documentation and treatment fidelity. This role also supports staff training, scheduling coordination, client coverage, and day-to-day clinical operations to promote continuity of care and positive client outcomes. Services are provided primarily in clients' homes, with additional responsibilities in our clinic, and travel is required within a 30-mile radius of the assigned service area. This position is ideal for an experienced ABA professional who enjoys developing others, fostering collaboration, and making a meaningful impact on clients, families, and the clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group ABA therapy in school, home and/or clinic settings
- Implement established treatment goals and intervention strategies developed by the supervising BCBA.
- Supervise, coach, and support Behavior Technicians (BTs) to ensure high-quality service delivery and professional growth.
- Conduct regular observations and treatment fidelity checks to ensure behavior intervention plans are implemented accurately and consistently.
- Monitor the accuracy and completeness of clinical data and documentation, providing coaching and feedback as needed.
- Collaborate with the supervising BCBA to monitor treatment implementation and communicate client progress, concerns, and barriers to treatment.
- Lead or participate in regular client progress meetings with families and the clinical team.
- Provide parent and caregiver education as directed by the supervising BCBA and the client's treatment plan.
- Deliver Behavior Skills Training (BST), assist with onboarding new staff, and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship.
- Support staffing, scheduling, and client coverage to help ensure continuity of care.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies, payer requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain professional communication with clients, families, and team members while safeguarding confidential information and complying with HIPAA, BACB Ethics Code requirements (when applicable), and company policies.
- Participate in required supervision, staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
- Ensure compliance with BACB Ethics Code requirements (when applicable), company policies, and all applicable federal and state regulations.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years or more of experience working with children with special needs in Applied Behavior Analysis
- Completed Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in early childhood education/development, early childhood special education, special education, or psychology.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Willingness to commute up to 30 miles between client locations
- Bilingual a plus
- Ability to pass a DOJ background check and provide a negative TB test
- Basic proficiency with technology (smartphone/tablet)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Classification: Non-exempt (hourly); eligible for overtime per California law
- Paid drive time between clients and mileage reimbursement
- Split shift premium available based on scheduling needs and job requirements.

Schedule
Hours of operation: Monday - Friday 8:00am-8:00pm and Saturdays 8:00am-8:00pm
- Required availability: Monday-Friday
- Shifts scheduled based on client needs and staff availability
- Employees manage their time between sessions and arrive punctually for all sessions
- Sessions may be consecutive or spaced out, sometimes with breaks due to cancellation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and engage with clients during sessions
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (materials or equipment)
- Ability to safely assist clients during behavioral crises or when implementing behavior intervention strategies, in accordance with individualized treatment plans, company policies, and safety protocols.
Work Location
- In-person sessions provided in client homes and/or clinic within Kern County
- Travel between client locations required; reliable transportation, auto insurance is a requirement
