Full Job Description

Position: Flutter Mobile Engineer
Location: New York City (Hybrid – 3x/week in office)
Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $135k – $170k + Equity (0.05% – 0.15%)
Visa: TN visa sponsorship available (no H1B)

About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled Flutter Mobile Engineer to design, develop, and ship new features for a high-growth consumer-facing application across iOS and Android. You’ll work closely with product and design teams to turn requirements into seamless, performant mobile experiences, while optimizing architecture and app performance to support rapid scaling.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and ship new features for a Flutter-based mobile app on iOS and Android.
Collaborate with product and design teams to create user-friendly, performant mobile experiences.
Maintain clean architecture patterns and optimize performance for scalability.
Write comprehensive tests to ensure quality and reliability.
Work in a hybrid model, with ~3 days per week onsite in NYC.

What We’re Looking For

2–5 years of experience building and shipping Flutter consumer-facing applications.
Strong proficiency in Dart and deep knowledge of Flutter framework, state management, and reactive programming.
Experience working in high-growth, early-stage startup environments (Series A–C).
Familiarity with fintech, trading, or brokerage systems (a plus).
Experience with RESTful APIs, mobile app architecture, and design systems (Figma).
Knowledge of Next.js, React, AWS (EKS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway), Firebase, CI/CD pipelines, and A/B testing.
Fast learner who can ramp up quickly (code in production within the first week).
Clear communicator and strong collaborator.
Positive approach to AI tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude.
