Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and safety focused CDL Class A Drivers to join our growing transportation team. This position consists primarily of drop and hook freight utilizing dry van and refrigerated trailers. Drivers will operate dedicated routes from Windsor, CT into New York and New Jersey, averaging 200 to 300 miles per day.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) review
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work a 6 day schedule with start times between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate dry van and refrigerated trailers
- Perform drop and hook operations efficiently and on schedule
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Utilize handheld technology and electronic logs as required
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and transportation partners
- Ensure equipment is maintained in clean and safe operating condition
- Report any equipment issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience hauling refrigerated trailers
- Previous drop and hook freight experience
- Strong knowledge of NY and NJ operating areas
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,250.00 - $1,750.00 per week
