Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport and deliver materials efficiently across various job sites. Duties
- Safely operate dump trucks, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Load and unload materials such as gravel, dirt, debris.
- Drive on designated routes, adhering to schedules and optimizing delivery times while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records for each trip
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in truck driving, especially with dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or freight delivery vehicles
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL A or B)
- Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely
- Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols in construction or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations related to commercial driving in various jurisdictions
