We are currently expanding our care team in the Westlake area and are seeking reliable Direct Service Workers (DSW) weekdays with every other weekend. This role is perfect for compassionate individuals looking for flexible hours while providing essential 1-on-1 support and personal care to neighbors in our community. This position requires the applicant to have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and valid auto documents to transports the consumer to appointments and community events. Shift Details: Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)
- Shift: Day Shift
- Days & Hours: Monday through Friday 11:00am to 2:00pm & every other Saturday & Sunday 8:00am to 12:00pm
Core Responsibilities: Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)
- Personal Care: Assist consumers with daily routines, including transfers, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Home Support: Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping to maintain a safe living environment.
- Community Help: Provide transportation to appointments or errands within the Westlake area.
- Daily Documentation: Keep accurate logs of care provided and report any health changes.
Requirements: Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)
- Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Documents: Valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card
- Background: Must pass all state-mandated background checks and screenings.
- Transport: Reliable transportation to consumer homes, appointments and community events
- Auto Documents: Valid auto registration & insurance.
- Character: A patient, compassionate, and reliable work ethic.
