Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation practices to ensure a safe cooking environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Participate in menu planning and development with the culinary team as needed.
- Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs when preparing meals.
Skills
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the kitchen setting.
- Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative when required.
