PEDOWITZ MACHINERY MOVERS INC., covers the entire eastern coastline including the Mid-West area. We are hiring experienced millwrights and riggers. Requirements:
- Valid clean CDL A
- Reliable and positive attitude a must
- Willingness to work overtime and out of town
- High mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Forklift certified or willingness to obtain
- OSHA 30 certificate or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
- SST Card preferred but, will assist in obtaining
- Proficiency in commercial driving with a valid CDL Class A license.
- Experience in driving trucks with manual transmissions. Peterbilt 379 18 Speed Trans.
- Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment for loading and unloading purposes.
- Knowledge of Load securement including chaining, strapping down of loads.
- Strong skills in maneuvering through various terrains and navigating routes efficiently.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of verifiable experience
- Ability to work in all weather conditions – hot cold dry days.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read & interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize work.
