You’ll work closely with coworkers and pet owners to provide exceptional animal care, utilizing your skills in dog training and handling. Duties
- Provide pet grooming services such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to maintain hygiene and comfort
- Monitor dogs’ health and behavior, reporting any concerns or abnormalities to your lead or manager
Maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning kennels, grooming areas, and play rooms and yards
Keep the dogs and cats happy and safe
- Qualifications
- Experience in dog handling, training, or pet care roles such as veterinary technician or assistant
- Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and animal behavior management
- Experience with pet grooming or pet sitting is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for moving supplies or assisting with large dogs
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being
