In this position you are responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting customers with deli and retail purchases, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and accurately processing customer transactions. This position requires a friendly, dependable, team-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
Customer Service
Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, professional service.
Assist customers with questions regarding deli meats, cheeses, prepared foods, and other store products.
Take customer orders accurately and ensure products are prepared according to customer requests.
Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude with customers and coworkers.
Deli Responsibilities
Slice, weigh, package, label, and price deli meats and cheeses.
Stock and maintain deli cases and displays.
Rotate products and monitor freshness and expiration dates.
Keep slicers, counters, equipment, displays, and work areas clean and sanitized.
Cashier Responsibilities
Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, credit/debit, and other approved forms of payment.
Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
Assist with customer bagging and carry-outs when needed.
This position is an important part of providing customers with quality products, friendly service, and a clean and enjoyable shopping experience.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
