Pay Range: $25 – $37 per hour, (DOE) FLSA non-exempt (OT eligible).

Here’s a deeper dive into your responsibilities:

Coordinate all preconstruction and estimating activities from project pursuit through bid submission.

Download, organize, and maintain project drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents.

Create and maintain Project M opportunities, bid numbers, estimating folders, and project records.
-
Coordinate page-turn meetings, estimating assignments, bid schedules, and estimating workflows.
-
Coordinate bid walks, pre-bid meetings, and internal estimating meetings.
-
Coordinate executive estimate reviews and bid approval meetings.
-
Ensure bids are submitted accurately, completely, and on time in accordance with owner requirements.

Prepare and distribute subcontractor and supplier Requests for Proposal (RFPs).

Track subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure complete bid coverage.

Assemble pre-bid RFIs and coordinate communications with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Support subcontractor procurement, bid leveling, and proposal management activities.

Support estimators with quantity takeoffs, estimate organization, and bid documentation.

Assemble bid books, proposals, qualifications, bid forms, and supporting documentation.

Maintain estimating databases, historical cost information, bid archives, and estimating templates.

Prepare and distribute monthly Structures Group reports, estimating metrics, backlog reports, and other management reporting.

Assist with meeting coordination, document management, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Support the development and implementation of standardized estimating procedures and best practices.

Coordinate the transition of awarded projects from estimating to operations teams.

Ensure project documentation is complete, organized, and communicated effectively.

Support a seamless handoff process to facilitate successful project execution.
What You Bring
-
Experience: Minimum of 5 yearsof experience in an estimating support, preconstruction, or estimating coordination role. General contracting estimating experience strongly preferred. Experience supporting commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or structural construction projects preferred. Familiarity with hard bid, negotiated, GMP, and Design-Build delivery methods preferred.

Education: Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related construction-focused degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant construction industry experience will be considered.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Experience with estimating software and project management platforms preferred. Experience with Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Project M, or similar software is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements
This office position requires the ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer. Candidates must have the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and using a mouse. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching are necessary. The role also requires good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling office equipment weighing up to 20 pounds. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, is essential.
