CarbonSix Construction is a general contractor, founded in 2021 and located in Grand Rapids, MI. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare draft Construction Contract documents including exhibits, plans and schedules
- Request and track Contractor Certificates of Insurance
- Pay Application processing including Lien Waiver tracking and Notice of Furnishing coordination.
- Schedule coordination with internal departments and external vendors
- Manage project documents in Project Management software including processing of invoices, purchase orders, etc
- Coordinate with CMMS system work orders; may coordinate completion of various tasks
- Manage and coordinate department email requests
- Process check requests
- Process project close-out documentation, certification, punch lists and various warranty activities
- Vendor management including quote solicitation, obtain and coordinate schedules, conduct regular progress meetings and invoice processing
- Assist with utility contacts and scheduling
- Assist in budgeting, project scope development and various permit application processing
- Strong understanding of the construction process from start to finish
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management / Engineering / Business preferred
- 1-3 years of recent commercial construction work experience desired and/or internship experience
- Excellent inter-personal skills, communication skills, and team-based project experience
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project)
- Understand CSI specifications+
- Positive attitude
- Commitment to safety on all projects
