Position Summary
CoverAnything.com is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Quality & Returns Specialist to work onsite within our third-party logistics facility in Springdale.
This is a hands-on individual-contributor position. The primary responsibilities are processing customer returns, performing outbound order-quality checks, leading inventory counts, inspecting inbound products, and maintaining accurate records.
The successful candidate will serve as CoverAnything.com’s daily onsite presence and will communicate regularly with our leadership team and the 3PL’s supervisors. This person will not directly manage 3PL employees. When problems arise, the employee will document the issue, follow established escalation procedures, and help implement approved solutions.
This position is well suited for someone who enjoys organized, repeatable work, takes pride in accuracy, communicates clearly, and can work independently without constant supervision.
Primary Responsibilities
Returns Processing
- Process approximately 70–100 returned packages per week.
- Open, inspect, photograph, and document returned products.
- Clean, fold, repackage, or otherwise prepare eligible products for return to inventory.
- Follow company guidelines to determine whether products are sellable, require additional review, or should be disposed of.
- Maintain accurate records of every return and its final disposition.
- Keep the returns area clean, organized, and current.
- Provide regular updates on the number and age of outstanding returns.
Outbound Order Quality
- Review order and shipping information before fulfillment.
- Print and organize order and shipping labels when required.
- Perform final checks of products, quantities, packaging, labels, and shipping methods.
- Place questionable or incorrect shipments on hold and promptly communicate the issue.
- Document recurring errors so company leadership can review them with the 3PL.
- Help ensure priority and special-handling orders are clearly identified.
Inventory and Receiving Support
- Perform scheduled cycle counts and lead monthly physical inventories.
- Compare physical quantities with system records and document discrepancies.
- Assist with unloading and inspecting inbound products for damage, incorrect quantities, or other quality concerns.
- Photograph and document damaged or nonconforming products.
- Help organize CoverAnything.com inventory and work areas within the warehouse.
- Monitor packaging and warehouse supplies and report replenishment needs.
Documentation and Communication
- Maintain simple, accurate records of returns, shipment issues, inventory discrepancies, and quality concerns.
- Provide concise updates to company leadership regarding completed work, backlogs, and unresolved issues.
- Communicate professionally with 3PL supervisors and employees.
- Follow established procedures and escalation paths.
- Identify practical improvement opportunities and present them to company leadership for review.
- Assist with approved process changes, checklists, or quality controls.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant warehouse, fulfillment, returns, shipping, receiving, inventory, quality-control, retail stockroom, or production experience
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and computer-based systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to follow established procedures consistently
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize work and remain productive with limited onsite supervision
- Confidence to stop and report a shipment that appears incorrect
- Willingness to perform both repetitive hands-on tasks and basic computer/documentation work
Preferred Qualifications
- E-commerce fulfillment or returns experience
- Experience with Shopify, warehouse systems, barcode scanners, FedEx, or UPS platforms
- Experience performing cycle counts or physical inventories
- Product inspection, quality-control, or order-verification experience
- Experience working in or alongside a third-party logistics facility
Physical and Workplace Requirements
- Ability to lift and handle packages weighing up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive product-handling activities
- Ability to work onsite in a warehouse environment
- Ability to safely assist with receiving and organizing products
- Ability to maintain a clean and orderly work area
This is an individual-contributor position and does not initially include direct reports or authority over 3PL employees.
Schedule and Benefits
The normal schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional approved schedule adjustments may be required for inbound container arrivals.
