The Woodbrook Early Education Center is seeking a Director. The Director must meet qualifications set forth by MSDE and the Office of Childcare and should include at least a BA degree in relative field and have the personal commitment required to serve as the programs operational and pedagogical leader.
Duties would include but not limited to:
*Plan a program of education and care for each age group ensuring physical, emotional, spiritual and intellectural needs of each child are met.
*Foster healthy, cooperative relationships with parents and provide regular opportunities for parents to volunteer in many facets oif the program.
*Supervise teachers in planning the curriculum and carrying out the daily program.
*Coordinate the regular evaluation of the program, ensuring compliance with accreditation and licensing issues.
*Screen, interview and hire staff as needed to fulfill teaching responsibilities.
*Prepare the program budget and administer the program within the limitis of the budget.
*Report to the WEE Committee and work in coordination with the Committee in administrative and educational goals.
*Provide counseling and referrals to children and referrals to children and families on a variety of developmental, special needs and crisis intervention.
