Senior Lifeguard - 2026 Summer Seasonal Position

Starting Pay Rate: $14.91/hour
- Assists pool manager in providing overall daily management of aquatics facility and in supervising the work of personnel.
- Provides training, audits, in-service, and leadership to lower-level lifeguards as assigned and in accordance with policies, procedures, and standards of safety.
- Plans and provides individual and group swimming instruction to students of all ages and abilities. Communicates with swimmers and parents to discuss program requirements and progress.
- Plans and provides group lifeguard instruction to staff and potential staff as needed
- Performs lifeguard and pool maintenance duties as assigned. Assists with maintaining facility cleanliness. Enforces rules and regulations for facility use. Inspects facility to ensure security and safety.
- Opens, closes and secures facilities at appropriate times. Assists and coordinates the use of the facility for private events.
- Identifies and maintains inventory of necessary equipment, materials and supplies.
- Prepares records and reports concerning assigned activities.
- Receives and responds to inquiries, concerns, complaints and requests for assistance.
*** Position requires day, night, weekend, & holiday work throughout the summer season***
Qualifications:
- Requires minimum of one year/season relevant experience.
- Must possess or obtain Starguard certification. Prefer LGI certification.
