Magnum is hiring an
LTL Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Sioux Falls terminal office. This role is responsible for coordinating freight movement, leading office staff, supporting customers, and ensuring efficient terminal operations. You'll work closely with dispatch, dock operations, and terminal leadership to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining compliance, accuracy, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
- Oversee the daily operations of the LTL terminal office to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service
- Coordinate LTL shipments to support timely, accurate, and cost-effective freight movement
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve service issues or delays
- Ensure shipment documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained according to company standards
- Serve as the point of contact for customer inquiries, shipment updates, and issue resolution
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and timely communication
- Supervise, coach, and support office personnel while fostering a productive work environment
- Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, and ongoing development
- Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and terminal operating procedures
- Conduct operational audits and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Manage office supplies, inventory, equipment, and facility needs
- Monitor office expenses and support cost-control initiatives
- Process invoices and assist with accounts payable and receivable activities
- Prepare operational, financial, and performance reports for terminal leadership
- Collaborate with dispatch, dock personnel, customer service, and terminal operations to achieve daily business objectives
- Identify process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Maintain confidentiality of business and customer information
- Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned by the Terminal Manager

Job Requirements:
We are seeking an organized, customer-focused leader with experience in transportation operations and office management. Ideal candidates have:
- Experience with LTL shipping, freight coordination, and carrier management
- Knowledge of transportation regulations, DOT requirements, and compliance standards
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation or logistics management software
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred, or at least three years of experience as an LTL Office Manager or comparable transportation leadership role
- Three years of experience in logistics, transportation, or terminal operations preferred
- Two years of supervisor or leadership experience preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position is performed primarily in an office environment within an active LTL terminal. Employees regularly interact with drivers, customers, dispatch, dock personnel, and terminal leadership while managing multiple priorities throughout the day. The role requires frequent computer work, communication, and occasional visits to operational areas of the terminal. Wage Range: 50000.00 - 60000.00 per year
