The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, follow schedules, and maintain equipment in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an 18 speed dump truck to haul materials to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Maintain accurate delivery tickets and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch
- Keep the truck clean and report maintenance issues promptly
Requirements:
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience preferred
- Knowledge of local roads preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Open to holiday and weekend work
