We’re searching for an IT Systems & Support Engineer. This position requires a hands-on, proactive individual who can manage technical support, infrastructure, and application-level tasks while contributing to broader IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their responsibilities while working within the larger North American IT team to ensure business applications and IT services effectively support the organization’s needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Helpdesk Management: Oversee and prioritize all helpdesk tickets for Kingspan Light Air & Water, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

User Support: Diagnose and resolve issues related to user equipment, including laptops, desktops, docking stations, and monitors.

- Printer and Copier Maintenance: Manage and troubleshoot printers and copiers across all company locations.
Software Deployment: Deploy and update software and drivers on all company computers, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.

User Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning and deactivating user accounts and access rights.

Hardware Imaging and Deployment: Image and deploy new laptops and desktops, ensuring configurations meet company standards.

Mobile Device Management: Manage and deploy applications to all smart devices, including tablets and smartphones, ensuring security and compliance.

IT Inventory Management: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, tracking equipment, lifecycle and usage.

Account Management: Create and manage IT login credentials and email accounts for new and existing users.

Network Administration: Manage and troubleshoot network equipment, including switches, wireless access points, routers, and firewalls, ensuring network security and efficiency.

Telephony Systems: Oversee and resolve issues related to the company's phone systems, ensuring uninterrupted communication channels.

CRM Management: Administer user access and permissions within the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and security.

- Remote Support: Provide comprehensive IT support to remote users, ensuring seamless access to necessary resources.
- Support database management and integration, ensuring efficient SQL-based queries and reporting.
- Work with internal teams to gather business requirements and enhance existing applications to improve workflows.
- Assist with digitalization initiatives and automation, helping drive IT modernization.
- Provide ongoing application support, addressing issues and implementing solutions based on user feedback.
- Document system configurations, application development workflows, and IT processes.
- Train and support internal users to maximize the value of IT systems and business applications.
Infrastructure & IT Management:
- Deploy and maintain IT infrastructure, including but not limited to desktops, laptops, servers, storage, networking, and cloud resources.
- Administer virtualized environments (VMware) and cloud infrastructure (Azure) for seamless application integration.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure up time for critical IT services.
- Maintain and enforce security best practices (firewalls, VPNs, encryption, Active Directory).
- Maintain IT asset inventory, server rooms, and ensure asset replenishment follows divisional policies.
- Assist in external and internal IT audits and compliance initiatives.
- Provide escalated IT support for business-critical systems and infrastructure issues.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in network and systems administration, including experience with cloud-based solutions and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
