Fuze HR is seeking a creative and innovative Learning Experience Designer (LED) to develop engaging safety training and performance improvement solutions that support employees across domestic and international operations. This role is responsible for designing modern learning experiences that improve safety knowledge, employee performance, and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate has a passion for adult learning, instructional design, and learning technologies, with experience creating impactful training programs in multiple formats, including instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and business stakeholders to identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain engaging learning content using instructional design best practices.
- Evaluate existing training programs and recommend improvements to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
- Create storyboards, scripts, and interactive learning experiences for instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, e-learning, gamification, and other digital learning formats.
- Develop job aids, performance support tools, and coaching resources to reinforce learning objectives.
- Manage and maintain learning content within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Create standardized templates and development processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Utilize learning analytics and performance metrics to measure training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align learning initiatives with organizational safety and business objectives.
- Stay current on instructional design trends, emerging learning technologies, and adult learning methodologies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Training & Development, Adult Learning, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Master's degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in instructional design, curriculum development, adult learning, or training facilitation.
- Experience designing training within a corporate or global organization is preferred.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Experience developing content using Articulate 360 or similar e-learning authoring tools.
- Experience creating multimedia learning solutions, including video, graphics, gamification, and virtual instructor-led training.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience using data and learning metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and improve performance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Certification
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP/CPTD) or similar certification preferred.
Other
- Occasional travel may be required depending on business needs.
