Duties
- Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on rooftops and ground-mounted sites, ensuring all components are securely mounted and properly wired.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise installations aligned with project specifications.
- Connect high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems following National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for safety and compliance.
- Use hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, plumbing tools, and other construction site equipment efficiently and safely during installations.
- Conduct fixture installation including inverters, junction boxes, disconnects, meters, and other electrical components.
- Perform system troubleshooting, wiring adjustments, and quality inspections to guarantee optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to coordinate tasks such as roofing work or plumbing connections when necessary for integrated solar projects.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including installation logs, inspection reports, and compliance records.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols at all times while working at heights or on complex electrical systems.
- Skilled in Main Electrical Panel
- 5 years experience in solar battery backup
- Prefer with Battery Certifications
Qualifications
- 2 year proven experience as a commercial electrician or solar electrician with knowledge of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of NEC standards related to solar power installations and electrical safety practices.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Hands-on experience with fixture installation, wiring techniques, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with roofing techniques relevant to solar panel mounting systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, plumbing tools, forklifts, and other construction machinery safely and effectively.
- Construction site experience with an emphasis on safety protocols in diverse environments.
- Knowledge of plumbing basics related to integrated solar thermal systems is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly across diverse project teams.
- 2 years experience solar battery backup - Preferred with battery ceritifications.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
