Job Summary:
Duties/Responsibilities:

Execute a Specialized Truck build program that is under way, with outside vendors and engineers

Identify, evaluate, and execute continuous improvement opportunities.

Contact suppliers concerning questions of performance and availability of parts, evaluate quotations, capability and assist in make or buy selection.

Create bills of material for product and components.

Develop and review projects, analyze and interpret specifications and features required to meet technical performances specified.

As a project leader, direct, instruct, assist, and evaluate the work of others involved in the assigned project.

Provide guidance to manufacturing and quality control regarding design and/or part issues.

Lead process design/analysis documentation, benchmarking and new product development

Provide technical assistance to clients (internal and external) on new or existing product applications, requests, or problems and assist with pricing as needed.

Creates new documentation or updates existing documentation to accurately reflect changes in a product or process to ensure accurate information

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

Solidworks software experience
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
