About the Role
Retentics is expanding its lead-gen structure and looking for an independent sales rep to drive direct outreach in a specific region. You'll work alongside our in-house SDR team, reaching out to prospects and booking meetings for our sales team to close.
What You'll Do
- Reach out to prospects in your assigned region however works best: phone calls, email, LinkedIn, in-person visits
- Book meetings between prospects and the Retentics sales team
Ideal Prospect Profile
We're looking for reps who can identify and open doors with:
- Shopify merchants
- Klaviyo users
- $1M to $20M in annual revenue
- Frequently purchased products
- Low ticket price preferred (ex. skincare, cosmetics, apparel, fashion, F&B, etc)
What We're Looking For
- 1-3+ year of sales experience, ideally in SaaS or a related B2B space
- A track record of opening doors and booking meetings independently
- Comfortable starting conversations cold and quickly sparking interest, even without a scripted pitch
- Comfortable working as a 1099 contractor with performance-based pay
- Existing relationships or the ability to open doors quickly in your target region
- Self-starter who doesn't need close supervision to hit targets
Compensation & Terms
- Base: $2,000/month
- Closing bonus: a one-time bonus equal to 100% of the deal's first month value, paid when the deal closes
- Example: a $1,000/month brand closes, you get a $1,000 bonus that first month
- Recurring commission: starting the following month, 20% of that customer's monthly revenue for as long as their contract stays active
- Example: that same $1,000/month brand keeps paying you $200 every month after, for as long as they stay a customer
- Performance: we're looking for reps who can close at least 2 deals a month
- First month: a probationary period where either side can step away at any time. This lets us both figure out quickly if it's a good fit.
