Shift: Day Shift (4x10-Hour Shifts)
Schedule: Variable 10-Hour Shifts | Start Times: 6:30 AM or 11:00 AM
Traveler Pay: $63–$66/hr ($2,520–$2,640/week) (Based on Experience)
Local Pay: $48–$52/hr ($1,920–$2,080/week) (Based on Experience)
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, ensure exceptional patient care, and maintain imaging quality standards while collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures while ensuring comfort, privacy, and safety.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Review images for technical quality and completeness prior to submission for interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection prevention, and quality assurance standards.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff regarding patient care and imaging needs.
- Monitor and report equipment issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Assist with workflow management and prioritize imaging requests appropriately.
- Participate in on-call coverage as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care at all times.
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology program.
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) required.
- ARDMS certification in at least one specialty category required.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification required.
- Current BLS Certification required.
- Minimum two (2) years of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience required.
- Experience performing general ultrasound examinations required.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging procedures and equipment.
- Excellent patient assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Strong attention to detail and image quality standards.
- Effective organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
