Join our dynamic team as a Weekend Sign Holder and become the vibrant face of our brand at various outdoor and indoor events! As a Weekend Sign Holder, you will be responsible for attracting attention to our West End Sales offices. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help elevate our presence outside our West End Sales office and near our Trinity project in Grover Beach. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your interpersonal skills while working in lively environments that thrive on energy and interaction.
Duties
- Hold promotional signs confidently at designated event locations to attract foot traffic and increase brand visibility
- Twirl and hold advertising signs to attract passing traffic.
- Smile, wave and create a positive first impression
- Represent Coastal Community Builders in a professional and friendly manner.
- Arrive on time and work safely near busy streets.
- Interact with crowds by greeting visitors warmly and providing clear, friendly information about the event or promotion
- Distribute promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, or samples to interested attendees
- Engage with diverse audiences through lively conversations, crowd interaction, and dancing when appropriate to energize the atmosphere
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout your shift to represent the brand effectively
- Support setup and breakdown of signage and promotional materials as needed
Experience
- Prior sign holding experience at retail events, sports events, conventions, outdoor fairs, conferences, festivals, concerts, charity events, or street marketing campaigns is highly desirable
- Experience in crowd interaction and providing information to customers or attendees in lively settings
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions
- Previous experience distributing promotional materials at public gatherings or promotional campaigns is preferred
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor suitable for greeting diverse audiences
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining an energetic and positive presence throughout your shift
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable standing outdoors for up to 3 hours
- Energetic and outgoing personality
- Must be able to lift and hold a sign for extended periods
- No experience necessary-we will provide the sign and basic instructions
