We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Time Cook to join our team in Bristol, Rhode Island. As a vital member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food for our residents in a timely manner, ensuring that every meal is a delight.
Responsibilities:
Prepare quality food in a timely manner consistent with individual resident needs
Direct, evaluate, and discipline Dietary Assistants to assure proper meal preparation
Monitor the Dietary Department's proper functioning to ensure quality service
Determine amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus and ensure that supplies are obtained from storage area in time for meal preparation
Responsible for preparation of all foods served following standard recipes and special diet orders
Plan for production in order to adhere to meal serving hours, ensuring excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of food
Perform all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner
